About the Author
Judy A. Hayden is Professor of English at the University of Tampa. She has written extensively on seventeenth- and eighteenth-century literature, particularly on drama. She is the author Of Love and War: The Political Voice in the Early Plays of Aphra Behn and her articles and essays have appeared in journals such as Studies in English, Papers on Language and Literature, English, Critical Survey, and Restoration and Eighteenth-Century Theatre Research.
